CariAnn

A voice born from grief, shaped in the quiet hours, and finally set free.

CariAnn’s musical journey began in 2024, during a deeply challenging time, as she cared for her mother through cancer. Seeking solace, she would often head to the gym after hours, using her voice to release the emotions she couldn’t speak aloud. After her mother passed, that healing continued: she began working with a singing coach, turning grief into a powerful form of therapy.

In February 2025, CariAnn lost a bet, and ended up performing at an open mic night at The Blue Dragon in Hawaii. Despite a deep fear of the stage, she discovered a profound love for sharing songs that mirrored her own experiences. On her mother’s first birthday in Heaven, she sang “Rise Up”, a song that captured their journey of love and caretaking.

As her passion grew, she seized chances to collaborate with other artists. On August 31st she held her first show, raising funds for The Kona Kids Foundation, her first time fronting a band. That night she met Dave McIntyre, marking the start of a new chapter.

With Dave, CariAnn began performing at open mics, leading to their first paid gig at Stadz, thanks to the support of Alex who believed in their talent. By late December, she returned to The Blue Dragon for her first official Hawaii show, a packed house. It was there that CariAnn & The BraveHearts were born, sharing the stage with Ginson and Cole. Through her music, CariAnn honors both her parents’ legacy, and embodies the spirit of resilience and hope.

Dave

Guitar/Harmonica/Vocals

Dave has been deeply connected to music from a young age. His journey began at age 12 when he picked up the guitar, igniting a passion that has stayed with him ever since. A pivotal moment came in 1984 when he witnessed the electrifying performance of Stevie Ray Vaughan, which inspired him immensely and solidified his love for music.

As life unfolded, Dave placed his musical dreams on hold to focus on family and work responsibilities. However, that passion was reignited when his youngest son, Cole, grew old enough to play bass. The duo started making music together, creating special moments that further fueled Dave’s love for performing.

An ardent Deadhead, Dave is also a member of Dead Serious, a tribute band dedicated to the Grateful Dead. This project allows him to express his love for the band while sharing memorable performances with fans. He enjoys collaborating with CariAnn, a vocalist whose spirit and energy complement his own, enhancing their musical chemistry.

In addition to guitar, Dave showcases his skills on harmonica and vocals, bringing a unique sound and heartfelt emotion to his performances. His connections with other musicians have led to memorable experiences, including meeting CariAnn through bandmates during one of her charity concerts.

Dave McIntyre continues to embrace music in all its forms, creating a vibrant life that reflects his enduring passion and commitment to his craft.

Cole

Guitar/Piano/Backup Vocals

Cole McIntyre is an emerging musician whose passion for music has been a profound way of communication from an early age. Living with autism, Cole found his voice through music, which served as one of the first mediums through which he expressed himself.

His dedication and talent in music are evident as he scored a perfect mark on the Advanced Placement Music Theory exam, showcasing his extensive understanding of complex music theory.

Cole plays the bass guitar and piano, and he also contributes background vocals, demonstrating his versatile musical abilities. He graduated from Marietta College in 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. During his time there, Cole was a vital member of the Rock & Jazz Ensemble, where he recorded one of his original songs in his senior year, further marking his growth as a creative artist.

Currently, Cole performs with his father in ‘The Flynns,’ a Rolling Stones tribute band, where they both share their love for classic rock. In addition to this, they frequently take the stage as a duet at open mic events, connecting with audiences and showcasing their musical chemistry.
